Geometry Wars: Galaxies Wii

Title: Geometry Wars: Galaxies

Platform: Wii

Publisher: Kuju, Sierra entertainment, Bizarre creations

Geometry wars galaxies is a fun game, a great new add to the series, and pretty much, is a geometry wars game. Now, to begin, first, you might have think this would be on a 360, or an xbox, but not on the market place, no, not on microsoft systems, but for exclusively only for Wii and DS. (I will review DS later) You will notice when you start the game, they haven't changed the look. The beggining is cool, since you get to twiggle it with your nunchuk, but it also supports classic control. Galaxies mode is really the main part of the game, which is a great feature, but, you will find playing the levels over and over again, trying to beat them. Let me tell you, it's hard getting a high score on the wii version with the wii remote! They added the same enemies, with new spawnings, and double the amount of enemy types! Though, it does have bad control, but, it's still fun. Another new thing is geoms. You will use geoms to get a high multiplyer in order to unlock new planets, and solar systems, and drone abilities. Now, the drone is pretty neat, it can do things for you, like collect geoms, attack, and such and such. You might not think it, but it does actually help you. Multiplayer, is big, and all of the geometry wars fans get it. Multiplayer. There is Co-op, self explanitory, retro evolved co-op using same lives and bombs. You have 6 of each, sam gameplay. Versus is again, retro evolved, and you have yo beat each others score. pretty simple, can't interfere with the other player other than shooting, and bombs. Galaxies, is a co-op mode for 2 players, using the same bombs and lives, mostly 6 of each onces again. It has a new solar system not avalible in single player mode. You get the option to choose if you want the laser on or off, have a star, a ring, or a cross for your shooter. I like just the star when I play. Another cool thing is, you can connect both your wii and put your ds into ds download play, and get a demo of retro evolved. You can play it as long as you want, as long as you don't turn your DS off. And you don't mind MIDI music. Now, if you want another solar system, called Lambda. It has 7 planets, The planets are named "Roczeroth, flizeroth, clazeroth, minzeroth, orbzeroth, pozeroth, and maszeroth" If you ask my, sounds like alot of oths. What does oth mean anyways?

I give this game:

8/10
